An antique pair of Austrian Biedermeier columns made of hand crafted polished Cherrywood, in good condition. The tall to décor pieces are enhanced by gilded circles around the top. The Biedermeier period refers to a time period around 1815 - 1848 in Central Europe. The middle class grew in population and became more intrigued by the arts. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 - 1840, Austria.
