A black, antique French sofa bench-recamier made of hand crafted ebonized Mahogany, in good condition. The canapé is particularized by two side backrests, standing on four arched wooden feet. The settee represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820, France.
