An antique marble relief of Athene or Athena who was a goddess of Greek mythology, in good condition. She stood for Wisdom, strategy amongst many and gave her name to to the Capital of Greece Athens. She belongs to the Twelve Olympic Gods. Her main sanctuary was the Parthenon in Athens. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa late 19th Century, Europe.
