Provencal Olive Jar in Terracotta from the 19th Century

This charming 19" tall antique olive jar originates from the small village of Biot in Southern France. The traditional Provencal terra cotta garden planter has a round shape and a honey-yellow glazed rim on the top, leaving the body with a weathered natural patina. These beautiful vases tell the story of time and are still today very sought-after objects of art for the interior of exterior. Weathered patina, wear consistent with age and use.
