An early 19th Century, antique French Empire nightstand, bed side table made of hand crafted shellac polished Ebony, in good condition. The single black Parisian commode is composed with two drawers, particularized with its original metal hardware and keys. The small cabinet is standing on four straight wooden legs.  The cupboard represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 - 1830, Paris, France.
