An antique French pair of early 19th Century candle holders on tripod base, carved out of Pinewood with acanthus leaf décor. Original polychrome silver gold patina, in good condition. Topped with hand crafted abundantly adorned metal cup with acanthus leaves. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1840, France.
