An antique pair of French candle holders with loose candle cuffs, made of hand crafted gilded bronze, in good condition. The detailed candlesticks have downwardly tapering, fluted shafts, supported by a round footplate. The base is particularized with palmettes and leaves. The Parisian décor pieces represent the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Minor fading due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 - 1840, Paris, France.
