An antique Walnut spiral staircase decor with Classic design with numerous steps and flat baluster supports on a square base, in a herringbone pattern, in good condition. Miniature staircase were produced by architects and furniture makers as fanciful projects primarily in the 19th Century. See models in the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1900, France.
