19th Century German Antique Biedermeier Polished Cherrywood Sewing Table

An early 19th Century, antique German Biedermeier sewing table with two drawers, made of hand crafted shellac polished, partly veneered Cherrywood, in good condition. The top part and the larger drawer is made of Walnut, the inside consists different sizes of compartment storages, particularized with is original metal hardware and one key. The small end table is supported by two detailed carved arched legs, consisting in the center three strings, sitting on a sculptural wooden base, standing on four short pyramidal feet. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age an use. Circa 1820, South Germany.
