19th Century German Biedermeier Pair of Mahogany Bookcase, Library Cabinets

An antique pair of Northern German early Biedermeier bookcases made of shellac polished, partly veneered Mahogany in good condition. The top part of the tall library cabinets are enhanced by a hand crafted cornice, composed with two open doors which are detailed with the original wire. The interior contains three adjustable shelves particularized by a hand painted green back wall. The cylindrical bottom part consists of two coffered front doors with shelving. Each bookshelf is detailed with their original hardware and four keys. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1830, Germany.
