19th Century German Empire Antique Cherrywood Freestanding Floor Mirror

An early 19th Century, antique German floor mirror made of hand crafted polished, partly veneered Cherrywood in good condition. The tall freestanding mirror is consisting its original mirrored glass, particularized on each side by a black shellac polished ebonized wood column. The mirrored screen or room divider is embellished by polished star shaped brass décor, supported by a cross beam, standing on four detailed carved, arched legs, resting on short lion feet. The mirror represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1820, South Germany.
