Early 19th Century, a set of an oversized mortar made of hand crafted white marble with a wooden Oakwood pestle, in good condition. This fun set was on display in a pharmacy in Milan. These simple tools have been used from the Stone age to the present. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820, Italy.
