An antique pair of 19th Century library stairs with wide steps in the Baroque style and patinated in a warm natural colored light-grey, in good condition. These large and very sturdy bookcase stairs are made of hand crafted painted Walnut wood. Each feature three-steps have a high back with scrolls and Acanthus leaves and the typical Baroque style decoration. Functional and beautiful to look at. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1860, Italy.
