A set of late 19th / 20th century handmade amphoras sitting on a circular base. This magnificent set consists of 66” tall and 42” tall amphoras finished with stunning white-washed paint over earthenware. The amphoras were used in Greece for the transport of diverse products, but mostly for wine. A pronounced beak and lateral handle make these vessels very decorative and ideal for a beautiful Mediterranean décor.
Wear consistent with age and use.
