A 19th Century, black antique Swedish Gustavian single chest made of hand crafted painted Pinewood with a red profiled stone slab, in good condition. The rectangular Scandinavian cabinet is composed with three large drawers, consisting its original brass hardware and key, enhanced by bevelled corners and fittings. The detailed carved cupboard is standing on four arched fluted legs. The commode is particularized in the Neoclassical Greek style. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1890, Sweden, Scandinavia.
