An early 19th Century, antique Swedish Gustavian daybed made of hand crafted painted Pinewood, in good condition. The side rests of the Scandinavian Lit Du Jour are enhanced by unique wood carvings, standing on eight curved wooden feet. The wood sofa bench is detailed in the Neoclassical Greek style. It does not have a cushion. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1830, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia.
