A vintage wall mount mask of the Greek god Apollo with a long beard, in good condition. The architectural model is molded and finished by hand in plaster. Interior use only. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1970 - 1980, France.
Apollo the Greek god was one of the most important, well-known of the Olympian deities in the Classical Greek and Roman religion and in the Greek and Roman mythology. He was the goddess of archery, music and dance. Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto, and the twin brother of Artemis.
