A vintage petit wall relief made of French plaster, inspired from a 18th Century French original relief featuring four cherubim and surrounded by a plaster frame, in good condition. Not recommended for exterior use. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1920 - 1940, France.

A cherub is one of the mysterious characters who directly attends to God, corresponding to Abrahamic religions. There are many characterization of cherubim, such as protecting the entrance of the Garden of Eden, also called Paradise, the Garden of God.
