20th Century Swiss Set of Six Vintage Bowl Planters on a Iron Base by Willy Guhl

pon-1342

A set of six vintage Mid-Century modern saucer planters designed by Willy Guhl for Eternit, in good condition. Hand crafted from light weight fiber-cement, these iconic garden bowls are known for their minimalist form, durability, and sculptural presence. Each planter rests atop its original hairpin tri-stand iron base, elevating the design with a refined industrial touch. The fiber-reinforced cement construction offers resilience against the elements, while the surfaces show a desirable weathered patina with traces of natural plant residue, enhancing their vintage character. Predrilled holes for easy drainage. Individually weathered patina. For out-door, undercover use. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Switzerland.

Planter with the iron base: 17.5 H"

Planter without the base: 7.7 H"

Also available individually.
