A large cement sink by the Swiss Willy Guhl. The rectangular trough is made of a light weight cement and is reinforced with a resistant fiber. The edges are softly rounded and the sides are slightly elevated. A natural aged weathered patina, drainage hole is provided. 1960s Switzerland.

Willy Guhl was a furniture maker, interior designer, teacher, and product designer born in 1915, in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland, and passed away in 2004. Guhl finished his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker at the School of Applied Arts in Zurich, Switzerland. He opened his own design studio and workshop in 1939. In 1943, he co-founded the Association of Swiss Interior Designers and in 1966, the Association of Swiss Industrial Designers. Guhl's work is known for his weather-resistant cement designs.
