This authentic Anduze terra cotta garden planter from Provence has an antiqued patina reflecting the warm earth tones of Provence and the Provencal lifestyle. This classic French citrus garden pot is decorated with handmade swags and medallions. The French garden planters are available in different sizes. They are not frostproof, include drainage, and may vary in size and finish.

The iconic Anduze urn traces its origins to the early 17th century, during the reign of King Henry IV. Inspired by the classical elegance of the Medici urn from Florence, a French potter in the town of Anduze blended Italian Renaissance design with Provençal craftsmanship, creating the first hand-thrown terracotta urn in Southern France. Over time, the Anduze pot became a hallmark of French garden style, admired for its graceful silhouette, durability, and decorative charm.
