A large traditional Pithari jar from the 19th Century. This antique large scale Mediterranean pottery was hand-thrown and fired centuries ago. The classic amphora form with its ring décor and three ear handles originated in Greek pottery thousands of years ago. The white washed earthenware Olive Jar adds a timeless decoration to the home and garden. Weathered condition, wear consistent with age and use.
