A very long vintage rectangular wooden dough bowl or bread mold with handles originates from the south of France. The bowl is hand carved from a solid piece of wood and has adapted a beautiful antique patina, circa 1880. Wear consistent with age and use.

These vessel were typically used to mix the bread dough and were found throughout French households.
