Circa 1930, a unique Gothic style village garden fountain, after an original from the 17th Century. The octagonal water basin has been divided with hand carved stone posts. The decorative center piece has four detailed Gothic masks with simple metal spouts, each flowing water into the basin. Hand carved in limestone with original aged patina. Wear consistent with age and use. Prov. from an estate in the Dordogne, France.
