A turn of the 19th–20th century painted metal hotte from France, decorated with a hand-painted coat of arms featuring the emblem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, referencing the town’s Papal history. Traditionally used for grape harvesting, the vessel retains its original carrying straps.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a historic commune in the southern Rhône Valley, renowned for its vineyards and celebrated red wine appellation, with much of its arable land devoted to viticulture.
A charming and characterful decorative object, ideal for a wine cellar, bar area, kitchen, or restaurant interior. Minor scratches, patina, and oxidation are present, consistent with age and use.
