A set of four garden statues with original plinths in carved limestone from Italy. These four anthropomorphic animal sculptures are representing the different trades. This set of unusual and rare to find animals attribute human traits. These garden ornaments are humorous and feature the statuettes as a chicken soldier, duck farmer, rabbit businessman and frog pilot. Weathered patina throughout, wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950, Prov. Lombardy, Northern Italy.
