This straw yellow glazed French garden planter in terra cotta is hand-thrown. The French garden pot is raised and is available in different sizes. The glaze is hand-painted and can vary. Size and finish may vary as the planter is handmade. A drainage hole is provided, not frost-proof.

The iconic Anduze urn traces its origins to the early 17th century, during the reign of King Henry IV. Inspired by the classical elegance of the Medici urn from Florence, a French potter in the town of Anduze blended Italian Renaissance design with Provençal craftsmanship, creating the first hand-thrown terracotta urn in Southern France. Over time, the Anduze pot became a hallmark of French garden style, admired for its graceful silhouette, durability, and decorative charm.
