This over-sized 36” tall antique olive jar originates from the small village of Biot in Southern France. The traditionally handcrafted Provencal terra cotta garden planter has a round shape and a honey-yellow glazed rim on the top, leaving the body in a natural tone. These beautiful vases tell the story of time and are still today very sought-after objects of art for the interior of exterior. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century, France. No drainage.
