Late Renaissance style Italian fireplace mantel in hand carved limestone. The lateral columns are adorned with twisted carving décor. The large horizontal top part of this mantel is adorned with a large scrolled family crest depicting a dragon and topped by an armor. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 prov. Florence, Italy.
