A humorous garden statue in hand carved limestone depicting a monkey in a seated position. The animal statue is holding a bundle of bananas and is wearing a hat and a T-shirt.  The ornament could also be used as a water feature. Weathered patina, wear consistent with age and use. Circa 20th century, Northern Italy.
