French Napoleon III Walnut Fauteuils, 19th Century, in Manuel Canovas Upholstery

A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III lounge chairs, crafted from hand carved walnut and newly reupholstered in a black striped Manuel Canovas fabric. Each fauteuil features a tall, gently inclined backrest with wide armrests, supported by four short, carved wooden feet finished in black. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1850–1860, France.
