The design on the bottom of each bowl is a dog set into a colorful background in blue, yellow, turquoise and manganese.
Wear consistent with age and use, weathered condition.
These Fajalauza ceramics once originated in the 16th Century in Granada Spain, and derive from the mix of Arabic and Christian art. The hand painted motifs are usually pomegranates, peacocks and flowers or plants.
