The rolled rim terra cotta garden pot is handcrafted in Impruneta, Italy, using the lengthy century-old coil method. The potter forms coils of clay and gradually builds up the interior of the mould of the vessel by a couple of centimeters each day. This specific clay from Impruneta is extremely durable and frostproof. These garden planters made of the terra cotta from Impruneta are considered to be of the highest quality worldwide.
