Antique Metal Grape Carrier Chateauneuf du Pape Painted in Red

A turn of the 19th–20th century painted metal hotte from France, decorated with a hand-painted coat of arms featuring the emblem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with the two crossed keys entwined. Traditionally used for grape harvesting, the vessel retains its original carrying straps.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a historic commune in the southern Rhône Valley, renowned for its vineyards and celebrated red wine appellation, with much of its arable land devoted to viticulture.
Minor scratches, patina, and oxidation are present, consistent with age and use.
