20th Century French Painted Metal Châteauneuf-du-Pape Harvesting Hotte Painted in Forest Green

A vintage French grape-harvesting metal hotte of tapered form with a worn surface, in good condition. The painted metal vessel features the iconic lettering Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with the two crossed keys entwined, and retains its original carrying strap used for vineyard work.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a commune in the southern Rhône Valley known for its vineyards and red wine appellation, with much of its land devoted to viticulture.
A charming decorative object, ideal for a wine cellar, bar area, kitchen, or restaurant interior. Minor fading, oxidation, and surface wear are present, consistent with age and use.
