Mid 18th Century Swiss Baroque Music Stand Carved of Limewood

A very rare conductor’s music stand from Brienz, Switzerland. It is intricately carved of limewood and richly decorated, typical for the Baroque period. The upper part is abundantly adorned with acanthus, scrolls, and leaves. In the center, it depicts a book. The stand is installed on three scrolled legs. Circa 1740–1760, Switzerland.
Wear consistent with age and use.
