This pair of 19th Century handcrafted Greek Peloponnese olive jars have the typical ribbed Nekuma decoration on its round bodice in terracotta clay. The uneven surface has a patinated white wash paired with a beautiful remnants of historical red color. These garden vessels were often used for storage and transportation. Wear consistent with age and use.
