A pair of antique French oak wood staved buckets with iron handles and red patinated iron bands. These oval shaped French vessels were typically used to collect grapes. The iron handles of the troughs were used to be installed into carts to make the load easier to transport. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century, Burgundy, France.
