A pair of antique hand carved marble lions resting attached bases. These garden statues could have been placed  as a staircase landing accent ornament. The statues in extended position are hand sculpted in Giallo Siena Marble and are facing each other. Beautifully weathered patina,  wear consistent with age and use. Circa 16th century, Northern Italy.
