Each chair features an open shield-form backrest with a detailed openwork central splat, finished with a distinctive shovel-shaped crest. The lower back is accented with small black-painted ebonized beams, and the chairs stand on four slightly arched wooden legs. Seat cushions have been newly upholstered in a black striped fabric.
