A pair of vintage French poodle garden statues in a seated and attentive position, in good condition. The garden ornaments are hand carved limestone and have a beautiful natural patina. These intricately carved garden dog statuettes can be also used to flank an entrance door. The base is attached to the statue. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1930, France.

The poodle is seen as the national dog in France, all though the breed is believed to be originally from Germany.
