Wall Relief of the Areopagus in Plaster
A wall fragment of the Areopagus, which in pre-classical times dates back to a selective council of elders for the city of Athens. The membership was favored to those who had been selected in high public offices. This wall mount relief is molded in French Plaster and refinished by hand. Wear consistent with age and use. Not recommended for exterior use. Circa 20th Century
