A black, antique French Empire sofa table made of hand crafted ebonized wood, in good condition. The round Parisian side table is composed with a shellac polished clear glass top to protect the surface, supported by a detailed carved gold-patinated octagonal column, resting on three arched claw feet. The décor piece represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1800 - 1820, Paris, France.
