Pair of Garden Lanterns in Carved Limestone 1930s, Italy

A pair of Italian garden lanterns or photophores, combined with unique sculpted hexagonal pedestals and lids adorned with a continuous egg and dart decor . The round bodice has an iron gate siding and a small door with hinges and surmounted by a pomme de pin finial. These stunning objects are beautiful when used as light fixtures and could also be electrified by a licensed electrician.
