19th / 20th Century Andalusian Terracotta Lebrillo Bowl
ON-1245
A richly timeworn late 19th / 20th century Spanish lebrillo bowl handcrafted in Andalusia, Spain. The milk-white glaze provides a striking background for traditional green manganese decoration, including a central pomegranate motif and bold radiating zigzag bands along the rim. Historic hand-forged staple repairs further speak to the bowl’s long history and were traditionally used to preserve valued pottery rather than discard it. Wear, glaze loss, and old repairs remain visible throughout. A custom hand-forged metal wall mount is included for decorative display.
Wear consistent with age and use.
